International Students at UT

       I'm came to Austin since August, It is around three to four months. This is a my first sesmester and it will end on December 6, 2021 and I am learn a lot of English. Some class I am do not like but I have a change to learn and practice the lessons. In my opinion English language is not easy for me because It is not my mother language, I have to translate in my brain from Thai to English and there are different grammar. Each lessons is improve my English skills. There are many activities at UT and they have volunteer to speaking with internation students who want to practice English. I am get many email to inform news and activities in UT and I always join social activities when i am free that help me to practice listening and speaking skills so much, also I can meet new friends and share experiences and cultures together. Sometime I feel just close to my friends and some people I am just knowing them but when I asked them, they told me this is the last sesmest...

People At Austin

     I think people at Austin ae very friendly person because if I don't understand that they were said, I can asked them to explain or repeat me again. When I waited a bus at bus station, I asked a woman who waited the bus the same me "What is another woman speaking?" and she explained to me. She is very kind. I don't understand because another woman spoke quite quickly. I known only she looking for a restroom. Yes, it is because she waiting her father but she comes to early around one to two hours so she needs to use the restroom. When I talk with my frinds about people at Austin, she agree with me that they are so kind because her frinds told her same and people other city are different from Austin. Some city, local people don't want to help foreigner and they avoid to speak with foreign but I don't know if it is true or not because I don't visit another city in USA.  But I know one thing, people at Austin, they like to do activities outside and some of...

The Weather At Austin

       When I came to Austin in August, the weather super-hot.  I think the higher temperature  is 35-38  ํC  and I got burn because the sun. My arms and legs got tan skin. Someday have rainy in the morning and in the after the weather hot again. Last week on Wednesday has rain and wind all day, the weather very cold.  I think the winter  is coming. But on Friday in the morning very cold and in the afternoon the weather is warm. I really  don't  understand why the weather changing so quick. It is not the same my country. My country the weather is also hot but it is not like Austin. My country hot and moist but Austin hot and dry. if you ask me, what is the weather am I like? I like summer but I fell my skin dry all year at Austin. Haha! Now, it is almost Thanked Giving and Black Friday! I am excited because my country is not celebrating on this day and this is my first time with this festival.  I have long holiday...

Daily Life At Austin

     I just come to Austin and study at UT around 2 months. I have a lot of international friends and they come from different country such as Angola, Turkey, Spain, Mexico, and etc. The people at Austin very friendly and kind. They have a lot activities at UT for practice English skills and social. For example talk time, tutoring, and bowling. Last weekend I went to six street, they have a Halloween party. It's very fun and good experience.
